2. Information we collect

Information you give us

  • Enquiries: when you use our contact form, email or call us, we collect your name, email address, telephone number (if provided), the reason for your enquiry and your message.
  • Job enquiries and applications: if you contact us about working with us, we collect the details you provide, such as your name, contact details, CV, experience and qualifications.

Information collected automatically

  • Technical information: such as your IP address, browser type, device and the pages you visit. This helps keep the website secure and working properly.
  • Cookies: small files placed on your device. See section 9 for details.

3. How we use your information

We use your information to:

  • respond to your enquiry and discuss the care and support you or a loved one may need;
  • arrange a home assessment, if you ask us to;
  • consider your job enquiry or application;
  • keep our website secure and understand how it is used, so we can improve it;
  • meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Under UK data protection law, we must have a lawful basis for using your information. We rely on:

  • taking steps at your request before entering into an agreement with you, for example when you ask about our services or apply for a role;
  • our legitimate interests in responding to enquiries, running our business and keeping our website secure;
  • legal obligation, where the law requires us to keep or share information;
  • your consent, for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw your consent at any time.

We will never sell your personal information, and we do not use it for marketing unless you have asked us to.

4. Health information

When you contact us about care, you may tell us about your own or a family member’s health. This is special category information, and we treat it with particular care. We only use it to respond to your enquiry and to understand the support needed.

Please share only what you are comfortable with. We can always discuss detailed health needs by telephone or during a home assessment.

5. Who we share your information with

We only share your information where necessary, with trusted organisations that help us run our business, such as:

  • our website hosting and IT support providers;
  • our email and telephone service providers;
  • professional advisers, where needed.

These organisations may only use your information on our instructions and must keep it secure. We may also share information where required by law, or with regulators such as the Care Quality Commission.

Third-party features on our website

Our website includes some features provided by other organisations, which may collect information about your visit:

  • Google Maps, to show our location;
  • Google reviews, displayed through Trustindex;
  • the Care Quality Commission (CQC) rating widget, showing our latest inspection rating.

These providers have their own privacy policies. Some may process information outside the UK. Where this happens, appropriate safeguards are in place as required by UK data protection law.

6. How long we keep your information

We keep personal information only for as long as we need it:

  • General enquiries: up to 2 years after our last contact, unless you become a client, in which case your client privacy notice applies.
  • Unsuccessful job applications: up to 6 months after the recruitment process ends, unless you ask us to keep your details for future roles.

After this, we securely delete or anonymise the information.

7. Keeping your information secure

We take appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse or unauthorised access. Access is limited to staff who need it, and we meet the NHS Data Security and Protection Toolkit standards.

8. Your rights

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • ask us to restrict or stop using your information;
  • object to how we use your information;
  • ask us to transfer your information to another organisation;
  • withdraw your consent at any time, where we rely on consent.

To use any of these rights, please contact us using the details below. We will respond within one month.

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first so we can put things right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.
